Coroglen – Luxury Retreat

Located on the beautiful sunny East Coast of New Zealand , this modern architecturally designed property is set in 8 acres of trees in the hills overlooking the City of Gisborne with sea views across Poverty Bay. Located well off the road, completely private but only 6 mins from city shops , waterfront dining and white sand beaches. Can easily accommodate  10 people, all in private and separate accommodation and ideal for corporate retreats with plenty of work space break out areas. The house opens from alfresco dining areas onto huge decks and swimming pool, along with tennis court . It features Wide screen SKY TV, Sonos wireless streamed sound, wireless internet , a new modern kitchen and ensuite bathrooms, open fireplace all in a modern open plan design..Plus cleaning and optional linen costs.

Eastwoodhill Arboretum

Eastwoodhill Arboretum, the National Arboretum of New Zealand, encompasses 135 hectares of exotic and native trees, shrubs and climber plantings. This haven has a nationally significant Homestead Garden, offers accommodation, tours for groups big and small, function venue and catering services. Situated near Gisborne on the East Coast of the North Island, a picturesque 30 minute drive through vineyards and farmland takes you from the chardonnay capital of New Zealand to Eastwoodhill. Immerse yourself in the beauty of our very own national arboretum when you enjoy a stay at Eastwoodhill's Douglas Cook Centre. There is a selection of accommodation available. Studio unit with ensuite and twin room that currently sleeps two in twin bed arrangement, linen provided  Bunk rooms (two rooms with eight beds in each). A fully-equipped shared kitchen and common room facilities are also available to accommodation users. The Douglas Cook Centre meeting room can seat between 20-60 pax



Gisborne Showgrounds Event Centre

The largest space available in Gisborne, the Centre is only restricted by imagination. With over 1200 square metres of clear concrete floor (38m x 32m x 5m high walls with 7.5m apex), the centre is licensed seating capacity up to 1,000 or a comfortable banquet seating for 650. The variety of local and national events held to date include conferences and seminars, art & craft events, kapahaka and dance competitions, home shows and trade exhibitions, art & vehicle clearance auctions, awards dinners and indoor sports training, birthdays, weddings, boat and car shows, concerts and of course our own A & P Trade & Home Industries Section. Equipment available: staging, chairs, tables, carpet and silks with additional sourcing as required. There are room dividers for smaller seminars and displays and D.I.Y options or fully serviced event managed.




House of Breakthrough

If a large audience is what you need to manage, this Gisborne venue is ideal for conferences, workshops and social events. Capacity up to 800 seated, with seating and staging available. Good sized café area for smaller group meetings. Equipped with sound and lighting in place. Great parking around the venue and close to the airport for guests travelling. Plenty of space and can accommodate musical shows and award presentations. Two minute walk to small shopping and cafe in Lytton West complex




Knapdale Eco Lodge  

Tranquillity in a Stunning Rural Landscape.
We are 8 minutes drive from Gisborne city and 9 minutes drive from Gisborne airport.
Our board table seats 14 and can be extended to seat up to 24. Theater style can host 40 to 50.
Knapdale Eco Lodge is set within a working farm and an established hospitality environment. Lots of opportunity to break out in smaller groups, take strolls through the garden or around the lake or even to partake in leadership development/teamwork . Outdoor activities like claybird shooting or geo caching also available.

The Marina Restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in Gisborne. Set in the historic Lysnar ballroom, they offer affordable elegance with a superb riverside location. The location of the Marina Restaurant in Gisborne is rather unique being on the junction of three rivers - the Waimata River, the Taruheru River and the Turanganui River (the shortest river in New Zealand being only one thousand two hundred metres long). The Marina Restaurant is available for private functions, workshops and meetings with a capacity of 100 seated, offering catering throughout the day to meet your needs and budget. It offers a unique Gisborne location for retreats and custom designed events.



Matawhero Wines

Located only 10 minutes from Gisborne City, with its gorgeous vineyard setting and critically acclaimed wines, Matawhero Wines is Gisborne’s premier winery cellar door. With its rustic charm, Matawhero is the perfect place for conference meetings, corporate wine tastings and lunches, functions, weddings or a great place to relax with family and friends on the weekend. There are a number of rooms available to accommodate everything from a business meeting for ten through to a dinner reception for 150 people. Catering is available and can be organised through the Gisborne Conference Company.

Peppers Beachfront Bar & Cafe

Peppers Beachfront Bar & Cafe is situated on Midway beach above Midway surf Club in Gisborne, the view from up there is quite surreal with 180 degrees of Gisbornes’ best, overlooking Young Nicks Head and the Pacific Ocean. Peppers is renowned for their professional and friendly service and the food is memorable. Fresh, seasonal, local produce at its best!  Chefs & Owners Dan & Bridget French are a food buff duo who will personally design a menu that suits your occasion.  This Venue will comfortably seat 100-120 people inside, there is a large deck that is used well in the summer, great to meet & greet before being seated inside the restaurant. The Bar is Licensed until 2am with Great coffee, Gisbornes’ largest Craft beer selection and a great range of Organic Juices. 



Quality Hotel Emerald 

The Quality Hotel Emerald is a one-stop for all conference needs. Delegates can stay in the hotel, where we have meeting rooms of all sizes, state-of-the-art facilities, and able to cater for up to 400 guests. From white boards to projectors, microphones, screens and more – all can be taken care of by our specialist staff. Breakfasts, morning and afternoon teas, lunches and dinners can be catered for by out chef and his team.



The BlackHouse

The blackhouse is a luxury accommodation overlooking the beautiful Wainui Beach in Gisborne, first to see the sun in the world and one of New Zealand's top surfing destinations. With breathtaking 360 degree views of Pacific Ocean and farmland, from the sandy shores of Wainui Beach across to the gentle countryside and hilltops, capturing endless sunrises and sunsets! This luxury lodge offers a fully equipped industrial style kitchen with uninterrupted views of the ocean, designed for your own use, or to bring in a chef to cater for your needs. There are three bedrooms: master, super king, king with four bunks, all with stunning views plus two ensuites and a shared bathroom. The large open plan living area has an enormous central fireplace at the heart of the blackhouse. This lodge can accommodate up to ten people.

This is a great country location amongst the vineyards of the Poverty Bay flats which offers two great spaces for your conference workshops, dinners and weddings. With the catering of great Gisborne fare and cuisine, Bryn Lewis provides wonderful menu options to suit your budget. The Vines is on site at Bushmere Estate so access to some of the region's top wines is also available. The Bond Room can accommodate 50 seated and 120 cocktail style. The Marquee can accommodate 200 seated and 400 cocktail style. Bushmere Estate is now open for the season – come and check out our new dining area The Vines Restaurant & Cafe.
